FAQ

Who do you work with?

I work with a wide range of populations and presenting issues. I mainly work with emerging adults, adults, and older generations. Within my practice, I specialize in issues such as depression, anxiety, life transitions, intimacy issues, LGBTQ+ issues, Veteran issues, and many others. For more information, please see my profile on Psychology Today .

Do you offer sessions online or in person?

BOTH! We can meet in person at either my office in Central Austin or in Northwest Austin. Or, if you would prefer to meet online, I can accommodate clients anywhere in Texas. I use a HIPAA-compliant version of Zoom for online meetings and will send you the link prior to our sessions.

What can I expect during my first session?

Your first session is primarily an opportunity for us to get to know one another. Before the session, you will fill out intake paperwork, and I will provide you with a Zoom link (if we are meeting online). Once we are in session, we will discuss topics such as why you are seeking therapy, what issues are coming up for you, and explore your issues in greater detail. Further sessions will delve deeper into these concerns.
Each session runs 50 minutes.

What are your rates, and do you accept insurance?

Individual therapy is $120 per session, and couples therapy is $140 per session. At this time, I am not in network with any insurance providers. However, I do accept HSA cards and can provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance company if you wish to seek reimbursement.
